The involvement of the passionate owner in the hotel's decor and atmosphere enhances the overall experience.
The noise level from the beer garden was disruptive, especially on a Saturday night, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.

The Beautiful King Room offered significant space.
Expect noisy nights if your room's above the beer garden. Weekends are particularly loud until around 1am. A kettle in the room without the crucial tea or coffee is a letdown. The check-out time at 10am feels too rushed, leaving little time for a proper morning.

What a delightful experience! I was really struck by the fantastic decor throughout, which gave the place a charming and inviting atmosphere. The en-suite room was meticulously clean and provided a comfy retreat after a long day exploring the nearby York Street Gallery and the Ramsgate Royal Harbour. I appreciated the flexibility of being able to order in food when the pub’s kitchen was closed. Definitely a spot I'd choose to stay at again for its warmth and character.
